22 Weeks!

I am officially 22 weeks as of Monday 17, 2013!! Benjamin and I found out June 6th what we are having with Ashley Lee. She was our wonderful photographer. We had so much fun but it was SOOO HOT outside. To make matters worse I didn't have dinner yet...I was just a little bit cranky. It's a good thing that Ashley knows me so well and puts up with me. :)

We did a lot of fun shots. With shoes and our reveal box. Benjamin was so happy it was a boy. I was for sure it would be a girl though. I couldn't believe BLUE balloons popped out. :) Now, I can't think of our little boy being a girl!! We do have names picked out, however we WILL NOT share it with anyone. Everyone will know his name when he is born. So until then he is our little stinker butt.

He's called stinker butt because he's a night owl like me....and an early riser his Daddy. He starts kicking around 1am and doesn't stop until 10am or 11am. It's rare for me to feel him move during the day though. I will say if I am sitting down and eating he will kick once or twice but then he's done. :)

It's so much fun seeing him move! I can't believe that he's in there sometimes. :) I'm actually excited to be getting bigger. Mainly because I know he's growing so much...and so fast. He's going to be tall like his Dad. :)

Speaking of his Dad...Benjamin is doing very well. He is still working with Bowers Plumbing. They usually work him 6 days a week...which is good but Benjamin crashes when he gets home most of the time. :) I don't mind. He's made a lot of new friends there and he's had a bunch of missionary work opportunities. It seems like everyday he comes home with a new conversation with a different person about the Gospel. He amazes me. Being in Alabama for him is his mission. :) He gets very excited about his co-workers wanting to know the Gospel.

Anyway, we are doing wonderful and we are very excited to meet our new addition. We are more than half way there!!

18 Weeks

So today I am officially 18 weeks pregnant. Can I say we are extremely excited!! :) My tummy has finally decided to poke out a little bit! We are loving that. People can actually notice I'm pregnant and not just fluffy. I've been having at least 2-3 meals for dinner alone...which is crazy. It all the sudden picked up. I'll eat a full meal with 2nds....then an hour later I'm starving again. It's awesome knowing that our stinker butt is growing and loves food. So our baby is the size of a bell pepper!!!
His/her length is 5 1/2 inches from their head to rump. :)

Since I've been pregnant I've been a very crazy emotional lady. Crying at least once a week is my normal thing now. I'm so used to bottling things in it's hard getting used to letting it out whenever. Benjamin has been happier than ever with all of it. He puts up with it because he wants this baby almost as badly as I do. ;) He doesn't mind the crazy. Here's a list of things Benjamin likes to do for baby and I. 1. Sing to our baby 2. Make us eat!! 3. Buys us treats 4. Tickle my tummy 5. and Pretty much anything I ask ;) He is such a sweetheart to us. He will be an amazing father. :)
It'll be his first Father's Day this year!!

October 21, 2013

It's been a long time since I've posted anything. Since my last post Benjamin and I drove down to Alabama. :) Can I just say that was a blast traveling with your best friend for almost a week. We learned a lot about each other that week. Haha. We made it to my parents house around 2 or 3 in the morning. We were so tired we crashed without getting anything in the car.

Since we've been here Benjamin was able to get a job working at Bowers Plumbing. :) We wouldn't have been able to without my wonderful cousin Mark. He helped us out tremendously. Thanks Mark!! BTW, It was great seeing you and your little ones. They are very adorable.

I have had trouble getting a job. No one was hiring and if they were no one would contact me back. After a while my sister, Ashley, helped me get a job on the Arsenal working at the PX Center. I am a beauty consultant for Clinique. :) I officially haven't started working yet. There was a lot of paper work I had to do first. I should start next week.

Benjamin and I decided a week before Valentines Day that I should take a pregnancy test. :) Exciting right? So two days before Valentines Day I was playing the piano and I got the feeling to ask Benjamin after work if we could take one that night. I went to go pick him up from work and I looked at him before we drove off and I said, "Would you pray about something for me?" He smiled his big grin and said, "Yes, what would you like me to pray about?" I quickly grinned back and asked if he would pray about taking a pregnancy test that night. Before I even finished asking what I wanted him to pray about he busted out laughing. Still smiling I asked him what was so funny. He just stated that he was going to ask me the same thing but I started talking first when he got in the car. :)

So we hurried and went to a store got 3 pregnancy tests and hurried home. I took one test and it showed negative. I was so disappointed.... I got the feeling to take one and I assumed it would be positive. I showed Benjamin and he just hugged me. I felt tired so I took a nap. I believe Benjamin woke me up and it was almost 9:30pm. He then told me all excited that we didn't take an early pregnancy test....I thought about it and he was right. We didn't. We both got dressed and went to Wal-mart on a mission. I was still very tired and the lines were horrible. After we bought the tests Benjamin was so excited. He bought me a small frosty at Wendys so I'd be able to use the restroom. Haha :)

Now, knowing my first test was negative, I really didn't want to get myself worked up over it. So I took the test and I just left it sitting in the box it came from and talked to Benjamin for a good 10-15 mins. about what movie we were going to put on. I got up to turn the lights off and I remembered I took the test. I pulled it out of the box and the 2 little pink lines were there....I couldn't believe it. I turned around went over to Benjamin and kissed him. He had to pull my face away to ask me if it was positive. Let me just say that Benjamin's eyes were massive and his whole body began to shake with excitement Haha. We both are excited. :)

My first appointment is at the beginning of March. My due date is est. to be October 21st. My family believes that I will have a boy. Benjamin believes that we will have twins. A boy and a girl. :) Either way we are very happy and very blessed.

New Years

So Benjamin and I announced on our last post the we are moving back to Alabama!!! I am super excited and the date that we are leaving has been finalized. :) The date that we are leaving is.....
January 15th 2013!!!
Everything has been crazy trying to figure out all the details. We do know that we have stop along the way. One of our goals is to hit 5 different temples and take pictures of them.

This is our list....
1. Manti Temple
2. Denver Temple
3. Kansas City Temple
4. St. Louis Temple
5. Nashville Temple
We are very excited to go and do work on our way home. :)

For New Years day we watched football in our room with the projector. :) It was fun for me with all the lights and fun for him watching the game.

While watching football we ate a lot of popcorn :) Of course we shared....Robert gladly helped out on that.

Overall we had a wonderful time being with family and just enjoying each others presence.

I will mention one thing that we did for a Christmas present. I had a lot of fun doing this for my new mother. My mother-in-laws kitchen has a theme being gnomes. There was one empty space that she had asked us to paint for her. She requested a gnome sitting in a walnut fishing in a pond. Lol. So we did just that. Benjamin painted the wall white for me and I took over after that. :) This is the finished product.....

We are very blessed to have such a wonderful family in our lives. We love everyone and we can't wait to see the other side of my family back home. We will miss everyone very much here in Utah. We will never forget you all. :) Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a good fresh start of the New Year.

Oh by the way..... here's our late Christmas card!!!

So Thankful!!

I'm trying to do that blog thing again. Hopefully I'll stick with it this time. =)
❤ ❤
So much has happened in the last month, month in a half. Let first start off with me saying how thankful I am for all of my family that has helped Benjamin and I seal the deal on November 29, 2012!!! We couldn't have done it without you. Know that all of you have a special place in our hearts. Everything was magical for us. Everything turned out better than we ever expected. We were truly blessed with such wonderfully talented family members and friends!!
❤ ❤
Most people did not know where we were going for our honeymoon. Only a selected few knew, and that's how I wanted it. Now that it's all over I'm okay with people knowing where we went. =) We were very blessed to have a hotel ready for us from my wonderful sister, Ashley Lee and her husband Skyler, in Salt Lake City. Let me just tell it was a wonderful experience for both Benjamin and I. Benjamin has only been to Salt Lake City once or twice. Even then he wasn't able to go to all the buildings and see everything. I've been once, when my brother and his wife got married years ago. So going there was the perfect place. We learned a lot of things with each other and had some pretty amazing experiences. We went to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and a cute little lady was so sweet to us. I wish we took a picture with her. Anyway, we wanted to see the Joseph Smith movie together and we missed a showing by 30 minutes. So we went out to Subway at the City Creek Mall. (AMAZING PLACE)
Waiting for the movie
❤ ❤
I didn't want to be late so we were actually 20 minutes early  to the showing. That is when we met this sweet lady. We talked for a bit and she told us we would be very interested in some of the old news clippings that they have on display. She told us exactly where to start and end. So in the displays it talks about this grand hotel...and how it was going to be destroyed. The church turned that hotel into the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Our minds were blown!! I had no idea and we thought that was so cool. After that we started looking at the building more and more trying to figure out what were bed rooms and what would be where. Now, we went back to the theater and the lady was still there. I don't think she expected us to be so interested in the building and it's history. However, Benjamin and I just kept asking questions one after the other. She has to stop us so she could do her job at the theater. She did tell us though to go to a certain lady that knows a lot about the building and ask her for a tour. We agreed with excitement. lol. After the movie which was breath taking. (I was on a roll with the water works that week.) We went straight to the front desk in this lobby.

And at the desk was that sweet old lady waiting for us. =) She knew we were excited to look around and she wanted to show us. We went through a bunch of floors and beautiful rooms. Not just rooms but the whole place is absolutely gorgeous!!

❤
❤
So Benjamin kept asking questions as usually and I don't know what made her feel like she needed to do this but she took us to restricted areas that only workers and Apostles can go. IT. WAS. AMAZING!! I wasn't allowed to take any pictures even though I wish I could have. The room that she took us to was a room that had gorgeous chairs, lights, piano, and amazing views of the city and temple. Angles that I'm pretty positive nobody has taken photos of. She then told us that the room we were in is for meetings for the Apostles. That was awesome to me. She then went on to tell us that the room was originally a bedroom for President David O'.McKay!!! How cool is that!! Benjamin and I just looked at each other in awe. The Spirit was so strong their. That was the only place she took us that was off limits but still that was very amazing to be in a Prophet's home. A place where they prayed and read scriptures. That was just one of many spiritual experiences we had on our honeymoon.
<3 <3 <3
Another thing we did was walk through the Visitor's Center. We took pictures of the paintings.

The two pictures above are meant for one family specifically...you guys know who you are. =)

❤ ❤
We also went on the mini tour that everyone has to go on. lol. Benjamin enjoyed that. We wanted to take pictures in front of the statue but they missionaries said if we wanted to take pictures everyone had to take them within five minutes. =/ The room was packed. So we just took a picture of the statue itself.

Later that night we went on a carriage ride through Temple Square to look at all the lights. It was perfectly romantic.

After the ride we went through the mall again. They had a water show going on. Just everything was beautiful and we both had a blast. None of this would have happened if it weren't for my sister and her husband. I know it was a big sacrifice for them to do that for us and I want them to know that we love you guys so much!!

❤ ❤

NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS!!!!! Benjamin and I have decided to move to Alabama in the next month or so. We are very excited for this new experience together. I'll be close to my family. Who I've been away from for almost two years!! I hope Benjamin loves it there as much as I do. Utah is a great place but I love Alabama. Hardly ever snows. ;) When it does though everything shuts down. Which is more snuggle time in my eyes. lol. Also, with how things are going for Benjamin's job right now, things look brighter in Alabama...
We will miss all of our friends that we have made here and all of our family. We will try and visit as often as we can.
